Our Mission The Giving Store will assist its customers in donating to charitable causes. Carrying the highest quality products, The Giving Store focus is to offer unique, all-natural, recycled, and eco-friendly choices. 10% of the retail price on all products will be donated directly to non-profit(s) supporting efforts in research, awareness, and/or prevention of a these important causes. The Giving Store will continue to add causes, non-profits, and products to widen the impact of donations to help make a difference.
Our History
I started The Giving Store in 2007, my vision was simple. I wanted a way to increase the amount and frequency of donations I could give throughout the year. I donated but felt it was too infrequent and too small. As a family we could only give a couple times a year and had to be selective. As a mother of two, my interests in causes has expnded and I want to make my dollar stretch to give to more of them. As a family we purchase many items as gifts for ourselves and others throughout the year. So I realized I could merge the two and make an impact by creating a group donating initiative. I decided that instead of picking one of many important charitable causes, I would connect many through one forum. Aside from providing unique, high quality products I want to continue to make a difference by offering hand-crafted, all-natural, recycled, and eco-friendly items. Individuals can purchase for themselves and others while 10% of the retail price benefits non-profit(s) supporting the different causes. The Giving Store has gift certificates to give the gift of giving. My secondary goal is to raise awareness and involvment with various non-profits. So links to individual non-profit sites are available in the "Learn More About the Non-Profits". These links will also encourage Memorial donations sand direct donations. As The Giving Store expands its cause, non-profits, and products the possibility to donate will grow. Now we can all enjoy quality products for our families and friends while giving back to our world!
